Blemain Finance offers more than ever before

Blemain Finance recently enjoyed the excellent coverage provided by a four page profile in Mortgage Introducer Magazine.  The article included an interview with Director, Gary Bailey.

Blemain Finance has a highly successful track record for providing innovative secured loan products.  Many packagers have been with us a long time; a testament to our exceptional levels of service.  We have also supported many small brokers who have since become influential players in the marketplace.  These strong relationships result from our eagerness to work in partnership to continually enhance products and processes for the benefit of brokers and their clients.  For example, Bypass Schemes for valuations, mortgage references, redemption figures and arrears have all been introduced. These schemes reduce costs and improve turnaround times.

Our commitment to consistently review our core products in accordance with the changing requirements of the market helps brokers to increase both their business volumes and profitability.  The extensive range on offer, covering second charge loans and bridging finance secured on residential or semi-commercial properties and semi-commercial mortgages, means that brokers have the flexibility to explore even more mutually beneficial solutions for themselves and their clients.  This variety of finance options has helped us to double our business in the last 12 months.  Equitable Charges for cases where consent has been declined from conforming and non-conforming first charge lenders have also been introduced to help brokers complete more cases, and we will continue to explore more innovative solutions that fulfil brokers’ needs.

We have also been enhancing our underwriting procedures, and have recently released our underwriting guide in the form of the ‘Blemain Finance iDeal Pack’.  The pack has been created to provide brokers with an insight into precisely how our underwriting procedures work.  Armed with this information, and the supporting documents that are included, they can be completely certain of the requirements when submitting a case.  The result is that applications are funded more quickly and levels of customer service are improved; good news for both brokers and their customers.  An additional line of support is available in the form of our ‘Roving Underwriters’, who are on hand to visit brokers at their offices and provide in-house training, assistance with cases and face to face decisions.
