In order to help we first need to understand your individual circumstances. We will ask you about your finances such as your income and expenditure. So, it's good to have these details to hand when you contact us.
It may help to have a look at our budget planner to get an idea of the type of information that we will need from you. Once we have a better picture of your circumstances we have a range of options available to help you get through your financial difficulties. These include repaying your arrears back over a number of months to suit your budget, or reconstruction of your current mortgage debt to a more affordable repayment schedule. If none of our options are suitable we also participate in a number of Government support schemes that may help you, so please contact us if you are having payment difficulties as we may have an option to help you during this difficult time. Although the sooner you contact us the sooner we can help, it's never too late. If you are having trouble paying your mortgage we will always try to help you. The information in the following section sets out how we will treat you fairly, and the steps you can take to help yourself. What we will do to help you

If we cannot offer you any of these options, we will tell you why. If we can make one of these arrangements with you, we will explain how it would work and give you time to consider it and advise you to seek independent advice. If we cannot offer any of these options, we might agree to you remaining in the property to sell the property yourself depending on your circumstances. What you can do to help us
